As promised during the May Council election, Harrow Conservatives have reviewed and reassessed the Council's regeneration strategy for Byron Corner, Poets Corner and Peel Road.

The review has resulted in scaling down the size and height of many of the Council's regeneration proposals as well as increasing the focus on quality family housing.

Cllr Marilyn Ashton, Deputy Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Planning & Regeneration said:

"We have all worked hard to redesign these sites drastically to provide the kind of quality, attractive housing that families want to see.

We still have many hurdles to cross around financial viability, build costs and permissions before any spade goes near the ground but these plans make me excited for Harrow’s future."
