Acutely aware as we are of the pressures of parking at this beautiful and highly popular public amenity your Councillors have, through working with officers and senior Cabinet Members secured a number of measures to ease parking issues:

Pembroke Road - Rapid response to Travellers

There was a rapid response when we were alerted to the recent traveller incursion onto the Fanuc site in Pembroke Road.

Cllr Corthorne coordinated a quick response following contact from a number of concerned residents.

The Mayor’s Office for policingand Crime – MOPAC recently consulted on the closure ofthree of the boroughs’ policestations including the two in the north of the borough, leavingHayes as the only “front counter” police station inHillingdon.

Improving Eastcote town centre

The Eastcote town centre improvement scheme is now focusing on improvements to the public amenities and spaces. Robust representations from Eastcote & East Ruislip Ward and Cavendish Ward Councillors have resulted in £1.3 Million funding to transform our town centre.

The Best Park in London

The London in Bloom competition again saw local open spaces gain awards. Eastcote House Gardens (EHG) won four Golds (or equivalent) and was category winner in Park of the Year (5–10 acres) meaning it was judged the best medium size park in all Greater London!
