As promised during the May Council election, Harrow Conservatives have reviewed and reassessed the Council's regeneration strategy for Byron Corner, Poets Corner and Peel Road.

The process of setting Harrow Council's budget for 2023/24 is well underway. Conservative Councillors are working hard to ensure that frontline services are properly funded.
I recognise that the expansion of the Ultra Low Emission Zone has been a source of contention amongst constituents, and rightly so. I was therefore pleased to take part in a Westminster Hall Debate held this afternoon, which was secured by my colleague Gareth Johnson.
Residents may be aware that I recently wrote to hospitality businesses across the constituency, inviting them to share their feedback on the Government's package of support to help with the rising cost of living, as well as their views on other matters, both national and local.
Residents may recall that I have previously written about the work of Northwood resident Dr Jide Menakaya, who is a Consultant Paediatrician at Hillingdon Hospital and an expert on care of neonatal children.
I know that many constituents will feel a great sense of sadness following the tragic loss of life in the Channel during the early hours of this morning. I am glad that the Home Secretary took the time to update Parliament of the situation in a prompt manner.
